Accountability & Improvement

Just as there are educational standards for students to be assessed against, schools and their management systems have accountability standards in place as well.

As part of the DET Accountability and Improvement process schools must complete and publish documents to their community that both report on results gained and report on strategies for the continuous improvement of the college.

These documents include the Strategic Plan, Annual Implementation Plan and Annual Report.

All DET schools are required to submit these reports on an annual basis and publish for community view.
