What’s it all about?

The VET Program MST20722 – APPAREL, FASHION & TEXTILES is the perfect starting point for anyone who loves fashion, or working with fabric and design, and who would like a career in the fashion industry. This course provides an introductory overview of fashion design and production process. You will learn the safety behind the industry, about fibres and textiles, how to use the sewing machine, how to modify patterns and designs, and make garments, a simple introduction to millinery and production of a simple textile fabric or product.

For this VET program, the school has partnered with Ripponlea Institute (RTO 21230) and Student enrolment is with Ripponlea Institute (RTO 21230).

Upon satisfactory completion of all units of this course, a student may attain a national qualification.
